Collaboration to Equip Students With In-demand Skills

Rishabh Integrated Skill Enhancement (RISE) is glad to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASBM University for the exchange of expertise and collaboration on technology-related skill development, training & research. This would empower students by identifying possible learning gaps and providing on-job training while providing relevant placement support.

Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Vice President, LearnAtRISE & Air Commodore G. K. Patnaik, Registrar, ASBM University signed the MOU that formalized the agreement that will be of great benefit to students.

This MOU will help bridge the gap between industry & academia while promoting educational and professional programs of mutual interest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a top-class learning university to collaborate with RISE on developing frontiers of next-gen technology.

We look forward to forging what promises to be a highly productive partnership with this group of eminent educationists,” said Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Vice President, RISE. “Both the institutions share a steadfast commitment to the greater good and this collaboration would serve as a springboard to collectively leverage our tech expertise to advance research toward a healthier, more sustainable future for the student community.”

Elated with this development, Professor Biswajeet Pattanayak, President, ASBM University, stated “This alliance will enable the students to leverage the first-hand experience of technology while pursuing their studies. This is the need of the hour. And, ASBM has a legacy of bringing innovative models of teaching and learning through industry-academia partnership”.

It would feature collaborative support across academic initiatives, research & innovation by imparting knowledge through live projects and hands-on learning. This association would also focus on upskilling the faculty members with Faculty Development Program (FDP)s to address emerging industry requirements in-line with National Occupational Standards.

Further, RISE and ASBM University also plan to hold a semi-annual strategic conversation to align strategies and goals and produce a joint annual summary report of the outcomes and results of their collaborative work.
